Wenatchee Wedding Photography – Wakeboarding Trash the Dress:

Last night we went down to Wenatchee and headed to the river with Jayme and Brandon (I posted a sneak peak on their wedding last week). We took this wedding dress and cut it off at the knees, giving it a cropped jaggy look. This was for two reasons. First, it was looked really good. Second, a full dress gets really heavy when wet and Jayme needed to be able to move in the water. Justin took the helm and I hung off the back with the gear getting the action.

Afterwords we found a place on the shore and get some sexy romantic images before walking back to the launch. Both Jayme and Brandon were troopers. While it all looks cozy, the river water is cold right now and the wind was blowing a bit. They were great and as a result will have a bunch of amazing photos to add to their wedding collection. Wenatchee Wedding Photography for Jayme & Brandon:

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing an awesome wedding for Jayme & Brandon. It was at the Highlander Golf Club in East Wenatchee and was a beautiful day. I work pretty often in the Wenatchee area and there’s always lots of potential. Wait till you see the views we had from the Highlander. Stinning. We even made it out on the Columbia River for some boating and Wakesurfing. I have some neat goodies in store for this wedding so stay tuned. Today I received a copy if Rick Sammon’s new book, Digital Wedding Photography Secrets. I was honored to be invited by Rick to contribute a page of tips to this great book. Here’s a picture of my page which features my well known Look To The Wind bridal portrait taken on the Washington coast. My article deals with using HDR to make amazing wedding portraits. Weddings 2009 | Wentachee, Spokane & More

I’m very excited about my 2009 weddings. My summer calender is filling up I’m shooting some really great weddings and locations all over Washington. Stay tune to the blog because I post images from every wedding.

I’ll be hitting some cool locations, like Woodland Park Zoo, Leavenworth, Cave B Inn, Spokane, Port Orchard and more, for what’s shaping up to be some really Amazing weddings.

I’ll also be using the new 5D MK II which is an incredible camera. I try not to put too much stock in what I shoot with, because in the end it’s not the gear but the experience behind it. Still it’s hard not be be excited. The images this camera makes are AMAZING!

I do still have some summer dates available. I’m also taking bookings for winter 09, and 2010. If your interested in booking wedding just get in touch.

Wenatchee Bridal Show 09 & Looking Back On 08

Next Saturday Jan 17th Sondra and I will be at the Wenatchee Convention Center for the Bridal Premier hosted by Katrina’s. The 17th also happens to be my birthday :)

Anyways it’s always a fun show and is much more relaxed than many shows around the state. To top it off the admission is FREE for visitors. Just like it should be. I’ve exhibited at other shows in the past, but these days I just do Bridal Premiere. This must be my fourth year there.

I have some really neat things in store, including the new red leather KISS book album, canvas wedding wraps and more. Stop by the booth and see us. We’ll be right by the main entrance. My 2009 dates are really filling up so if you want to book you should contact me.

I’d like to give a shout out to all my brides and grooms from 2008. It was great working with you. I look forward to seeing you all at 2009 weddings around the State.
