Winter will be over soon and the warm wonderful wedding season will ensue. I’m thrilled about the blessings 2009 has in store. My summer wedding dates are already filling up fast and I have some amazing weddings around Washington, including locations like Port Orchard, Wenatchee, Spokane and more. Stay tune to the blog because there’s some great destinations on my calender and i’ll be keeping you posted.
I decided that with my brand new site I needed some fresh business cards. Below is a proof of the new cards I just designed. I decided to go with a double sided color card with an image on each side that represented my style. I’m stoked about them.
Don’t forget the Wenatchee Bridal Premiere on Saturday the 17th. I’ll be showing, and I have some exciting things planned. Stay tune for more details. To all you 2009 brides and grooms out there, a big congratulations. Even if I don’t have the pleasure of shooting your wedding, I hope you have an amazing and memorable day with many happy anniversaries. Happy 2009… Gavin

Saturday’s wedding was for Amanda and Travis. They were a really fun couple. You may recall I did an Engagement session for them earlier this summer. The wedding was at a the Alliance Church in Moses Lake. Things went great except for a small hitch. Travis set the ring into a small safe and it got locked. No big deal except the combination was locked inside. His friends ended up having the break open the safe with sledge hammer to get to the ring, but everything went on as planned.
After the ceremony we went to the college campus. We took some fun shots on the college baseball field. Then over to the reception at the ATEC Center. It was a really nice location with plenty of room. Eric, our DJ from Audio FX kept the party going throughout the evening. Here’s a few favorites. Saturdays wedding was for Megan & Andrew in Cashmere. It’s a nice little town between Wenatchee and Leavenworth The ceremony was at the Lutheran church, and then we headed over to The Conservatory Event Center in Cashmere for a fun ceremony.
Valerie from the Conservatory is always great to work with and they catered a great dinner. Cameron from Wenatchee Boys did a great job as our DJ. He quickly found the sweet spot, and had the guests joining the party in no time.

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a great wedding for Emily and Chase in Orondo, on the Columbia river (A few miles outside of Wenatchee). Their wedding was outdoors at a friends house right on the river and had a great view.
Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from the wedding. I especially enjoyed the shots of Chase carrying Emily in the river. I always like to do something unique and fun with each couple to help make their photo collection a bit more amazing. You also can click the link below to see the entire gallery, including more of the river shots, and order prints and more if you like. Enjoy… Gav
